DESCRIPTION

RADIESSE: CONTOUR AND DEFINE. INJECTABLE RESORBABLE AND BIODEGRADABLE IMPLANT. RADIESSE is a collagen and elastin-inducing filler. It consists of a resorbable calcium hydroxyapatite gel intended to lift sagging facial features and contours. RADIESSE is indicated for plastic and reconstructive surgery, for augmentation of the soft tissues of the deep dermis and subdermis of the facial region. Fills wrinkles and reshapes the face. RADIESSE Volumizing Filler is FDA approved for subdermal implantation for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. RADIESSE stimulates the skin's own collagen production to restore skin volume, eliminate wrinkles and improve long-term skin quality. RADIESSE is also indicated for the restoration and/or correction of signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in patients with human immunodeficiency virus.

• The injectable implant RADIESSE is supplied in sterile and non-pyrogenic form in syringes packed in aluminium pouches, themselves placed in a cardboard box for easy storage.

RADIESSE INTENDED USE/ INDICATION

RADIESSE injectable implant is indicated for subdermal implantation for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and it is also intended for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus. The injectable implant RADIESSE is indicated for plastic and reconstructive surgery, and increased volumes byinjection into the deep dermis and subdermal, including the face area.

ACTIONS RADIESSE

How RADIESSE works: Once injected, Radiesse provides immediate volume and correction and also continues to work by stimulating the skin to produce its own natural collagen. Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA-microspheres, leaving behind only the skin's natural collagen.
